Description
Self portrait
Zinc plate. Softground used for the backround, worked with 400 & 600 sandpaper around the portrait. Etching for the portrait. There were softgrounded shadows in the face, but they didn't turn out the way I'd planned so they got scraped, burnished and sanded away so I could redo them with a roulette instead. I like the subtlety of the roulette better.
